Welcome! I'm a former screenwriter, playwright and current novelist, deep in the querying trenches. I write in multiple genres—mostly suspense, horror and contemporary fantasy.

If you're a querying author, I know what you're going through. It takes me more time to write a query letter and synopsis than it does to write a whole entire book, and I'm never sure if my marketing materials are showcasing my story as well as they could be. Like everyone else, if I ask tem different people for their opinion, I'll get ten very different answers.

I'm in awe of authors who send their work out into the world and get lots of manuscript requests right away from agents. It's helpful to know that it can happen. It's also possible to have zero connections in the industry and become a published author. We just have to keep writing and querying and doing all the things until we find that magical person who can't put our manuscript down once they've started reading it.
